Gernika or Txorixero Basque Pepper

$4.75

75 days. The gernika or txorixero, pronounced (cho-dee-share-dow) is a sweet frying pepper that is a traditional variety of the Basque people.ย  These are often picked green, fried whole in oil and sprinkled with salt. When ripe, they are dried and used for paprika. Very unique and hard to find outside of Spain or Boise, Idaho!
