Doux D’Espagne / Spanish Mammoth Sweet Pepper

$5.00

Spanish Heirloom

70 -80 Days. This Spanish heirloom was introduced to the markets in Spain and Southern France around 1859. Productive plants produce cone-shaped fruit that can grow 6 to 8 inches long and 3 to 5 inches in diameter. It’s large size and sweetness makes it a great pepper for salads, roasting, frying, or stuffing. It remains a very popular pepper with chefs in Paris and southern France.

Growing onions, leeks, or shallots? Once the seedlings reach four to five inches tall, or they're flopping over, it's time for a trim. ✂️ This keeps them from falling over, but more importantly, helps them to build strong roots and stocky shafts. Trim about an inch on the first go. Once they get about 6 inches, it's time to coif again. 🧅#thecoeurdalenecoop#growingonions#alliums#trimmingonions#organicgardening ... See MoreSee Less
