Tlacolula Gold

85 days.  This old Mexican heirloom hails from the town of Tlacolula, in the southeastern part of Valles Centrales region of Oaxaca. With similar ribbing to its cousin the Zapotec, Tlacolula Gold is pear-shaped with a rich golden color. Fruits weigh between 4 and 12 ounces with a mild, sweet flavor. Stunning on the plate when paired with the Zapotec. Grown from organic seed stock.
