Armenian Cucumber

$4.00

Armenian Cucumber, OP

55 – 70 days. This “cucumber” grows 18 inches or more! Best grown on a trellis to keep the fruits straight — those grown on the ground will often curl. Large vines are very prolific. Sweet, never bitter, flavor, because, well, technically, botanically, and genetically, it’s a muskmelon (Cucumis melo).

I did not have enough sun where I planted this in a large container. The plant grew beautifullu up my string trellis and had lots of flowers but no fruit. I would like to try again this year, but you are out. Will you have more later? Its only Jan. 17th!

I'm demolishing these worn-out workhorsees, and the new install begins next Monday. I can't tell you how hard it is to be pulling vibrant plants from the garden. 😥 But it will be worth it!
