Wow! These are not onions but massive Dutch yellow Wow! These are not onions but massive Dutch yellow shallots. A bumper crop this year with a few more to pop out of the ground. These were planted as small bulbs last fall when the garlic went in. They will cure for a few weeks, and I'll save back the best to replant for next year. Crispy fried shallots, anyone?
