Red-brown fruit are about 6 to 8 inches long with with sweet, fruity tones…and then it hits you with a savory, moderate heat. Mostly used as a dried pepper, but when used fresh, their delicious, fruity flavor adds interest and a bit of spice salsa and salads. 2,000-5,000 Scoville heat units.
