85 days.  The Guajillo Chile pepper is a staple in Mexican cooking, used to make mole sauce, salsa and chili powder. Red-brown fruit are about 6 to 8 inches long with with sweet, fruity tones…and then it hits you with a savory, moderate heat. Mostly used as a dried pepper, but when used fresh, their delicious, fruity flavor adds interest and a bit of spice salsa and salads.  2,000-5,000 Scoville heat units.

I love the color of these Italian Red of Florence I love the color of these Italian Red of Florence bunching onions. This bunch overwintered... I thought they'd be soft and mushy, but they are perfect. A testament to their hardiness and prefect for our cooler region.
