Mexican Heirloom

75 days. One of the most popular chili peppers in Mexico. When used fresh, these mild, heart-shaped green peppers are called Poblanos, and are use to make in the classic Mexican dish, Chili Rellenos. When dried, the red fruit turns a rich, dark red-brown and is known as an Ancho chili, and can be ground to make red chili powder. Poblano peppers have mild heat, usually around 2000  Scovilles. Yes, it's that big! My new favorite orange tomato: Yes, it's that big! My new favorite orange tomato: Potato Leaf Yellow. Mid-season, very productive, blight resistant, and bounced back 100% after a spider mite infestation. Large fruit is meaty, with great flavor. No bland orange flesh here. We will have plants available for sale next year!
