Open Pollinated, Organic Seed Stock, Patio Perfect

60 days. Ise is very similar to the common shishito pepper, but is sweeter and has larger fruit (about 3 1/2 inches long by 1 inch wide). Slightly wrinkled fruits are perfect for roasting, pan-frying, or grilling. Great with a glass of champagne!! Typically harvested and used green, but it will turn red when fully ripe (90 days). Very prolific and makes a fantastic container plant. Grown from organic seed stock.

A favorite pepper! Even kids like it. Reliable and just keeps blooming well into fall. Briefly char the skin in a dry (no oil) cast iron pan then drizzle with olive oil during the last minute of cooking. Sprinkle with a bit of salt while they cool.

Let’s face it, gardening here can be tough. We’ve had snow on Mother’s Day, and then, some years, temperatures have hit near 100 degrees. June is often wet and cold, which can cause warm-season ...

Let's have a peek in the Coop's Growing Garage. Th Let's have a peek in the Coop's Growing Garage. This is where the seed-starting magic happens. 🌱

Pepper seedlings and few tomato seed-snails are about ready for transplanting.

Soon all these racks will be filled with pepper, tomato, eggplant, and tomatillo seedling. 🍅

But before that happens, we need to pot up and move the lettuce seedlings to the greenhouse. 🥬

It's a juggling act, but planning and the right timing keeps everything moving like clockwork. 🕰️

Time to get busy!
