Heirloom, Organic Seed, Early!

75 days. One of our favorites! An early and long producer from Siberia. Sasha’s Altai is a medium sized, great tasting, multi-purpose tomato. This tomato is a prolific and reliable producer. Plants are smaller, but loaded with fruit. Great for a container (needs support!!). It was chosen by Organic Garden Magazine as one of the 10 best early tomatoes in the world. Seeds have been saved from the UI Extension, Idaho Master Gardener’s Pollination Project Garden. Grown from organic seed stock.

We enjoyed our first Sasha yesterday. Delightful! Flavorful, juicy, full slices. Another is ready for today’s lunch. On my list for next year. Thank you for suggesting this one.

Let's have a peek in the Coop's Growing Garage. This is where the seed-starting magic happens. 🌱Pepper seedlings and few tomato seed-snails are about ready for transplanting.Soon all these racks will be filled with pepper, tomato, eggplant, and tomatillo seedling. 🍅But before that happens, we need to pot up and move the lettuce seedlings to the greenhouse. 🥬It's a juggling act, but planning and the right timing keeps everything moving like clockwork. 🕰️Time to get busy!#thecoeurdalenecoop#springseedstarting#greenhousegrowing#growingorganic#thisishowiroll ... It's a juggling act, but planning and the right timing keeps everything moving like clockwork. 🕰️
