Italian Heirloom – Organic

80 days.  Firm, meaty 3-inch fruits grow on bushy, compact plants. The Italian Roma is an excellent paste tomato, but is wonderful in salsas, sandwiches, and salads. Determinate growth ensures that most of the fruit will ripen at the same time, which makes it an great choice for canning. Very productive. Plants are grown from organic seed.

And just like that, ROOTS! I popped this small bunch of grocery-store rosemary in water on Monday, and Viola! Roots are emerging. Once these get about an inch long, I'll pot them up. It's such an easy way to grow Rosemary for a whole lot less than buying plants. Basil also readily roots in water. This basil has been sitting on my kitchen counter for months, as you can see by the roots.
