Lettuce – Truchas Red Mini Romaine

Plants Grown from Organic Seed Stock

48 days. Take your Caesar salad to the next level with Truchas. This deep burgundy red, mini-romaine is compact and easy to grow in small spaces or containers. Uniform leaves stay upright in the garden and are easy to clean. Disease resistant to downy mildew, lettuce die-back, and lettuce mosaic virus. This is my favorite lettuce to grow for taste and beauty! Grown from organic seed stock.  Sold in pony-packs, 6 plants to a pack.

Please note: Cool-season crops are not available for purchase online this year.

All cool-season crops, including lettuce, will be offered for sale at our Spring Fling Cool-Season Plant Sale in mid-April.

I'm demolishing these worn-out workhorsees, and the new install begins next Monday. I can't tell you how hard it is to be pulling vibrant plants from the garden. 😥 But it will be worth it!
