Tomatillo – Purple Keepers Modern Landrace

$4.50

Grown from Organic Seed

70 days. This medium-sized purple tomatillo ranges in color from a purple blush on green to deep purple throughout, and has a more complex flavor than green tomatillos.  A “landrace” is a variety that has been purposely maintained as a diverse gene pool to help it be more adaptive to harsh conditions.

The tomatillo plant is self-sterile, so it is a good idea to have more than one plant in the garden. For a successful crop, two plants (of any variety) are recommended.
