Basil – Purple Petra

$4.75

Purple Petra basil is mildly sweet without the herbal spiciness of other basil plants. It’s stunning purple color ads a pop to many dishes, including pesto, pasta, and salads. It also makes a lovely pink-hued vinegar or oil. Tomatoes love it and it’s pretty enough to display in your flower garden and use as filler in bouquets.ย  Grown from organic seed.

No bare ground and lots of plant diversity, that's No bare ground and lots of plant diversity, that's what I have in my raised beds. Here's a look at bed #2, 12 by 4. Strawberries own the front 4 feet, but the remaining is stuffed with cucumbers, eggplant, peppers, onions, and potatoes, plus borage, calendula, and zinnias to keep the pollinators happy!
