Black Brandywine Tomato

$4.50

Heirloom

85 days. Large, dark brownish-purple fruit have the earthy and sweet flavor that has made “black” tomatoes so popular. The potato-leaf plants are vigorous and an excellent producer of large 6 to 10 ounce fruits. Some fruit tended to crack, but that’s large heirlooms in general. Definitely worth adding to your heirloom lineup! This heirloom was bred by Dr. Harold Martin, a dentist and amateur plant breeder, in the early 1920s. Indeterminate.

Yes, it's that big! My new favorite orange tomato: Potato Leaf Yellow. Mid-season, very productive, blight resistant, and bounced back 100% after a spider mite infestation. Large fruit is meaty, with great flavor. No bland orange flesh here. We will have plants available for sale next year!#thecoeurdalenecoop #potatoleafyellowtomato#orangetomatoes #anewfavorite ...
