Chervil

Known as French parsley, chervil is a delicate cousin to that has a peppery, sweet flavor that tastes a like parsley, fennel, and licorice combined. It’s one of the original fines herbes used in French cooking. This annual herb is a cool season crop, growing well in damp soil in a partially shaded area — where most plants fail to thrive. Summer heat will cause it to bolt.
