Heirloom & Open Pollinated Tomatoes

The Coeur d’Alene Coop specializes in the sale of quality heirloom and open-pollinated tomato plants — in a rainbow of colors, shapes, and sizes!

We offer more than 30 varieties of large beefsteak, cherry-type and sauce/paste tomatoes -- some that you won’t find anywhere else locally.

All our plant starts are grown by us from open-pollinated seed stock, and several varieties are grown from certified organic seed. While we are not "certified organic" we do follow organic guidelines in our growing practices. We only choose varieties that grow and produce well for the north Idaho climate.

🧄Step. Away. From. The. Grocery. Store. Garlic. 😂 🧄Step. Away. From. The. Grocery. Store. Garlic. 😂

Thinking about planting garlic this fall? What you put in the ground matters.

That bulb from the produce aisle may be perfectly delicious for dinner, but it isn't necessarily the best choice for your garden.

Choosing healthy seed garlic--and varieties suited to our climate--is one of the first steps toward growing bigger, better bulbs.

Want to know why?

That's one of the things we'll dig into during Growing Great Garlic: From Clove to Cure.

🗓️ Saturday, September 19, 10 am

From choosing your cloves to curing your harvest, we're covering the whole season.

Registration is open--come grow garlic with me!
