Mexican Heirloom — CdA Coop Exclusive!
80 days. I found a table full of these extremely large and fiery hot jalapenos at a community market in Oaxaca, Mexico. I’d never seen jalapenos so big! I’m pleased to say they grew very well in my garden — producing masses of 4 to 5 inch, glossy green fruit… and that’s when you want to harvest them, unless you’re looking to have your head blown off from incredible heat. For these jalapenos, red really means hot! Compact plants grow well in the ground or a container. Plants are grown from organic seed stock. Seed is exclusive to The Coeur d’Alene Coop.

The winter-sown lupine was a success this year. These are Russell's, a multi-colored mix. I managed to pot up 30 seedlings. I'll let these grow on a bit before potting them up again. Depending on how they grow, I'll either plant them in the late spring or hold them until fall. I ❤️ lupines.#thecoeurdalenecoop #wintersownflowers #lovelylupine #perennialflowers#lupinelove ...
