Padrón Spanish Tapas Pepper

$5.00

Roll the Dice…Sweet or Spice?

60 days. The Padrón pepper is a Spanish heirloom variety from the municipality of Padrón in Galicia, Spain, and they are famous for their heat unpredictability — some are very mild and others are surprisingly spicy! The peppers are early maturing, thin-skinned, and are often blistered in a hot pan of oil and tossed with sea salt for a typical Spanish tapas.  Scoville heat ranges from 500 to 2,500. Plants are grown from organic seed.

It's taken 8 years for this harvest! I'm so happy to finally be eating Italian plums from my own tree! Hope this is the beginning of many harvests to come. 🫐#thecoeurdalenecoop #italianplums#homegrownfruit#organicplums ...
