Plants Grown from Organic Seed

Jimmy Nardello Sweet Pepper

$5.00

Favorite Italian Frying Pepper, Heirloom

85 Days. This Italian heirloom was brought to America by the Nardello family in 1887 and named after one of their 11 children, Jimmy. Peppers can range from 6 to 12 inches with a delightfully sweet, rich flavor — making them the perfect Italian frying pepper — but also great for salsa or drying! Plants are prolific and grow well in containers. Plants are grown from organic seed stock.

I'm a bit tardy in posting these carrot photos, bu I'm a bit tardy in posting these carrot photos, but here are the gems I harvested just before Thanksgiving. They were in the last bed to be prepped for winter. Planted in mid-July, I managed to save them throughout the raised bed rebuild. I'm happy to say 1) the carrots are delicious, and 2) all beds are finally put to bed for the winter. No more hauling soil...time for a rest!
