Fairytale Fruit

$5.00

Rare Bi-Colored Beauty from Germany

75 Days. Fairytale Fruit is an open-pollinated German variety (MärchenFrucht) that produces mid-sized, oblate to heart-shaped, beefsteak tomatoes between 5 and 10 ounces. The bi-colored fruit is a golden-yellow-orange-pink with meaty flesh—fruity, sweet, and exotic tomato flavor with the aroma of peach and pineapple. Plants are abundant producers and resistant to late blight. Seed was given to me by tomato breeder Craig LeHoullier. Indeterminate plants are grown from organic seed.

It's taken 8 years for this harvest! I'm so happy to finally be eating Italian plums from my own tree! Hope this is the beginning of many harvests to come. 🫐#thecoeurdalenecoop #italianplums#homegrownfruit#organicplums ...
