Principe Borghese Tomato

$4.50

Italian Heirloom, Grown from Organic Seed, Patio Perfect!

70 – 75 days. Determinate.  A customer favorite! Principe Borghese is an Italian heirloom famous for sun drying. Small, 1-to 2 ounce, grape-shaped fruit with pointy ends are very dry and have few seeds. They have a rich tomato taste that is wonderful for sauces. Vines yield clusters of fruit in abundance! You won’t be disappointed. While this is a determinate variety, it still grows large and will need to be staked or supported.

Determinate means that the plant will set most of its fruit within a set period of time (usually within two weeks). Harvest time is shorter as all the fruit develops and matures at approximately at the same time. This is good for those who want to process fruit, and want it all ready at the same time.

Let's just say I'm still racking up the daily step Let's just say I'm still racking up the daily steps!

Excited for the new "blank canvas" at the front porch. It was an embarrassing, weedy mess; soon to be beautiful again.

The patio is stunning in its early stages. Cannot wait to add potted plants. Progress is slow, but wow, super nice this far.

And let's not forget all the planning and purchasing of supplies that take place now for next year!

And all that free time? 🤔 Ha!
