Red Fig Cherry Tomato

$4.45

Heirloom, Organic Seed Stock, New for 2021!

80 days. An old time heirloom dating back to 1850 by the David Landreth seed house of Philadelphia. Indeterminate plants produce heavy yields of 1½”, sweet, pear-shaped fruits that are great for fresh eating. Years ago these tomatoes were used as a substitute for figs by gardeners who would pack away crates of dried tomatoes for winter use… so they dry well too! Lovely in a salad with Yellow Pear!

If you are growing leeks, onions, or chives from seed, it's a good idea to trim the tops back. This keeps young stems from flopping over and makes for stronger plants. As they grow, you can trim less. #thecoeurdalenecoop #growingleeks #trimmingonions #alliumhaircuts ... See MoreSee Less
