Aw, dang it. We had to say goodbye to Licorice tod Aw, dang it. We had to say goodbye to Licorice today. She had a prolapsed vent, but wasn't egg-bound. Most likely a tumor. She was a beautiful hen; a Midnight Majesty Maran, with glossy black feather tinted metallic green. A great layer, too. Our first to produce. Fly over the rainbow bridge to a field full of chicken delights. ❤️
